Regional Learning Development Officer: Graziella Welsh
Graziella was born in Brazil and has been living in Scotland since 2005. She has worked at Scottish Water for the last 12 years, the last 4 years in a Learning and Development role. In 2017, Graziella completed an MSc in Human Resource Management at Strathclyde University and during her degree realised that Learning & Development was the area that she mostly enjoyed. Graziella’s husband is from Glasgow and she has 2 girls. During her spare time she really enjoys cooking and spending quality time with her family outdoors. How We Decide What is Funded
We are bound by the relevant learning and development policy and procedures for employees, officers and Territorial Envoys. Each application is considered on its own merit. Learning and Development Officers are available to support and guide you through the funding process. The criteria that applications are judged against are: Funding cannot be given for courses
Funding Limits
In line with the current procedures for learning and development, applicants must be aware of the funding limits when applying for courses. Courses up to and including certificate level (Higher Education Level 1), S/NVQ awards and QCF awards level to Level 5:£3,500 Courses at diploma level (Higher Education Level 2) and QCF awards Levels 6
Accommodation Needs
If you have particular accommodation needs on one of our residential courses, please do get in touch with us. If you are concerned that a start time (e.g. 9am) is early when taking into consideration travel needs, please do talk to us as we may be able to arrange accommodation for the night before.
