Course Details

The ‘Transforming Conflict and Informal Mediation’ course will explore a biblical perspective on dealing with conflict enabling participants to be confident effective leader in the midst of conflict. Delegates will explore conflict styles, constructive and destructive conflict patterns, listening and negotiating skills for effectively responding to personal and corporate conflict. Delegates will learn how to deal with strong criticism and confrontation, building an understanding of informal mediation, knowing when to use it and how to approach setting up a mediation session

  • To understand the reality and dynamics of conflict and to respond more effectively to it.

Learning Partners: Facilitators will be joined with trainers from Bridge Builders Ministries.

Officers and Employees interested in exploring peacemaking and reconciliation from a Christian perspective.

Note: Should an employee/officer book a place on a course but then subsequently fail to attend or complete the course, repayment of cost of the course will be charged to the department/appointment concerned (recoverable from the individual) (Policy CS04 Sect 6.5).
