Course Content:
This course forms Module 3 of the safeguarding programme
This one day course looks at
• Salvation Army safeguarding policies
• Criminal record background (disclosure) check requirements and process
• Understanding risk
• Risk Assessment and Management Plan (RAMP)
• Workshops
• Questions and feedback
Learning Outcomes:
To increase knowledge and understanding of risk
To understand how to undertake a risk assessment meeting
To develop an understanding of working with statutory authorities
Learning hours: 3.5 Hours
Who Should Apply?
Module 4b covers RAMPs for Corps Attenders. This training is suitable for Officers, TEs, and other corps personnel managing attenders at corps. Module 4b is not suitable for Service Managers in HSU/OPS/ATMS, etc.
