Course Content:
This course forms Module 3 of the safeguarding programme
This one day course looks at
• Salvation Army safeguarding policies
• Criminal record background (disclosure) check requirements and process
• Understanding risk
• Risk Assessment and Management Plan (RAMP)
• Workshops
• Questions and feedback
Learning Outcomes:
To increase knowledge and understanding of risk
To understand how to undertake a risk assessment meeting
To develop an understanding of working with statutory authorities
Learning hours: 3.5 Hours
Who Should Apply?
Module 4a covers Blemished Disclosure RAMPs – this training is suitable for Officers and employees (eg. HSU/OPS/ATMS Service Managers) managing personnel (employees and volunteers) who have blemished disclosures.
