The Associate Project Manager Level 4 is for people who manage or lead projects within private, public or third sector organisations. Delegates may have some experience in project management and will be driven to improve their planning, organisation, leadership and communication skills. In addition to achieving your apprenticeship award, the Association for Project Management’s Project Management Qualification (APM PMQ) exam is integrated within this apprenticeship so you will achieve two professional qualifications including an APM qualification too.

Suitable for

This qualification is suitable for those who manage projects big or small within their role and are seeking to be more effective and confident that you’ll develop the skills you need to successfully plan, execute, and complete projects.

Programme Delivery

The programme is delivered through blended learning which includes, 1-2-1 facilitated learning sessions, self-directed, practice assessments and 8 x interactive webinars and workshops delivered by Lifetime Trainers. To achieve the apprenticeship you must also complete an End Point Assessment which includes a presentation and professional discussion. The APM Certificate is a formal exam.

Length of programme

15 months average plus 3 months End point Assessment plus APM Exam

Requirements

Candidates must be in a relevant role where they are exposed to project management

There are no qualifications required to attend this programme. However, English and Maths L2 (GCSE A*-C or equivalent) are required elements of this programme and you will need to provide your certificates. If you cannot provide your certificates you will need to achieve Functional Skills L2 English and/ or maths prior to taking the the end point assessment. If you haven’t got your GCSE (A or O Levels or equivalent) certificate, you may be able to obtain it from the awarding body or from your school. But, If you can’t you will need to take the relevant Functional Skills Level 2 exam.
