Regional Learning Development Officer: Helen Chappell

Helen Chappell, Birmingham RLDOHelen is the Regional Learning and Development officer for the Birmingham region. Since qualifying as a member of the CIPD (The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) her keen interest in people development facilitated a career working within the Learning and Development team for an International Financial services company for many years. Helen also has management and youthwork experience in the voluntary sector from her time as Centre Manager at YFC. Outside of work, Helen loves musical theatre and was instrumental in helping set up and establish a local Performing Arts school for children where she fulfilled the role of singing teacher and musical director for their annual productions.  Her two children, who now both live and work in London, joined her as cast members or show band members during that time.
